Monique & Rodrigo

Although the weather was not exactly on our side Saturday, that did not prevent everyone from having a wonderful time celebrating Monique and Rodrigo's big day at New Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Portsmouth. Their reception was held at the newly renovated Drydock Club about 2 miles away. Andrea from Cloud Nine Events coordinated this beautiful event. I hope you two have a safe and relaxing time in The Dominican Republic this week!

Monique's Bridal Session

I did Monique's bridal portraits back in the summer. We started at the Portsmouth Renaissance and worked our way around the historical part of downtown Portsmouth. She was such a great model and we actually ended up shooting for a few hours. I will be posting her wedding this week, so stay tuned!

Baby H

I loved every minute of this session! I have been wanting to photograph this little ham since I first laid eyes on him at a friends wedding back in June. This little guy is the epitome of a happy baby, to say the least. And what awesome and very sweet parents he has. I cannot wait until our next session with big brother later this month!

Crystal & Rob

Saturday, Crystal and Rob were married at the Chrysler Museum, which happens to be within walking distance from my house. The weather was perfect the whole day and we really took advantage of the garden and the Hague to get some great shots. Crystal and Rob are a year younger than me and have already been together for 11 years! Reva Stein did an excellent job coordinating this beautiful event, while Steve from Astro DJ kept the party going all evening. Daevid from Daevid's Bridal Flowers created the beautiful flowers and centerpieces. Cuisine and Company provided the delicious food and G's Cake Shop made the yummy cake. Thank you Jessica and Carrie for assisting me!

Holly & Blake

What a fabulous wedding! Holly and Blake were married at Holly's (wonderful and down to earth) parents home in Potomac, Maryland. This was not your typical traditional wedding. Ted Tharp, an Elvis Presley impersonator sang to the bride and groom during their first dance and guests shot basketball hoops for flat screen TVs. Uptown catering provided the delicious food, while the band Galaxy kept the guests dancing all night. Terry Godfrey with Joyous Creations provided the beautiful flowers. Thank you so much Holly and Blake for making me part of such a special day! I cannot wait until you two move here!
